Joogii is a Los Angeles-based design studio created by husband and wife team Diogo and Juliette Felippelli. They founded Joogii in 2015 to create objects and art that cultivate a vibrant environment with the intention to bring story, energy and dialogue into the global design community. Each of their projects ignite collective consciousness and unify creative disciplines to explore culture in global and niche context.
About Juliette and Diogo
Juliette is an interior and object designer known for her art-forward and conceptual projects. She is influenced by the California Light and Space movement, the boldness of Italian modern design and Bruce Lee, among many other things. Juliette graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) with a degree in Interior Design and was the recipient of the Sally Sirkin Lewis graduate award for exceptional creativity and innovation. Prior to attending FIDM, Juliette graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Diogo’s background spans multiple creative disciplines including graphic design, music production, photography and branding. Diogo finds inspiration in the designs of local Los Angeles tattoo artists like Dr. Woo, Moganji and East Iz and in the culinary arts from chefs around the world. He obsesses about wrist watches, especially the handsome IWC Pilot’s Chronograph Top Gun. Diogo holds an MBA from ESPM in Rio de Janeiro.
Together they have been named "5 Product Designers to Watch" by Hospitality Design Magazine, an "Emerging Talent" by Interior Design Magazine and featured on Architectural Digest's "Watchlist."
